What happened? How did we find ourselves in a war precisely when we have a government dominated by left wing "peace" activists? The fact is that we have no leadership. There is no one on the scene today who is willing to treat our enemies as enemies! Even those who allege to be right wing seek to appease our enemies. How can we win a war when we insist upon surrendering conditionally to an enemy who seeks our complete destruction?

The kidnaping and bombing of our citizens at this time is totally irrational. Olmert has promised our enemies that he will abandon more of our homeland to them, with no conditions attached. One would expect that the Arabs would be smart enough to just wait a little longer. Why start a war when you know you will have a much better advantage just by waiting for the enemy to retreat as he promised?

Clearly this too is a miracle. G-d is showing Olmert that his "irreversible" plan to continue fleeing from our homeland is not only reversible, but will never happen! Who in his right mind can even think about retreating while we are being attacked by an enemy whom we are well able to destroy? Even members of his own party are already declaring that such a move is out of the question.

As Ashkelon, Haifa, and Tel Aviv are coming under fire, even extreme left wingers are beginning to realize that the Arabs don’t limit their hatred of Jews to those who live in Judea and Samaria. The only method to remove the factional animosity which has plagued our country and threatened civil war, is for our enemies to unite and try to destroy us. Only when we feel the common threat to our survival will we have no choice but to stand together and fight for our existence. And only when we, as a people, stand together as one unit will we have the strength and ability to destroy our enemies and restore pride to our nation.

For those with eyes to see, the miracles are evident. For those who choose not to see, the agony will grow until they do see. Redemption continues despite those who presume to lead us and to have a copywrite on peace. Peace will only come when Israel returns to G-d, whose Name is Peace. By denying our Divine Destiny it is we who bring the irrational attacks by our enemies.
