Who Is Running The Show?

Security or the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel? You choose.
The Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI), another well-intentioned organization that is blinded by its own good heart and will, has urged Prime Minister Ariel Sharon not to appoint Yuval Diskin as head of the Shin Bet security service, citing the fact that Diskin came up with the idea of the targeted killings.
The same group does not protest against the ethnic cleansing, genocide, mass murder of those who are being targeted by Arab "Palestinians" as civilians going about daily life on buses, in discos, in cafes and restaurants, in shops, and in universities.
In other words it is ironic and moronic.
In an urgent letter to Sharon and Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, PCATI writes that an organization "as important and with such dramatic powers as the Shin Bet should be headed by an individual who was not centrally involved in violating international and Israeli law."
According to PCATI, "The State of Israel deserves a Shin Bet chief that is not perceived in the world as someone who is responsible for such a serious violation of the law."
Sharon decided that Diskin, who served in the past as deputy to current Shin Bet chief Avi Dichter, will succeed the latter and that the appointment will go into effect following the cabinet's approval.
Over the past four years, Diskin has been responsible for overseeing and directing the security forces' targeted-killings campaign, the legality of which is under consideration by the Israel Supreme Court in the framework of a petition filed by the Public Committee Against Torture some three years ago. Israel Supreme Court is slated to hold a summary debate on the matter next week.
"The assassination policy that Mr. Diskin was instrumental in putting into practice claimed the lives of hundreds of people, many of whom were innocent bystanders, in recent years," wrote attorney Michael Sfard on behalf of PCATI to Sharon.
Achshav Now, BetSelem and the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI) lack clear conscience and moral turpitude as "aiders and abetters" of the ethnic cleansing, genocide and mass murder and mayhem of bystanders and civilians on a daily basis whose only crime are being victims of self righteous legitimizers and terrorism.
Whose hands hold the safety of the citizens of Israel in their hands? The Israeli Supreme Court and PCATI? Or those sworn to stop terrorism dead in its tracks?
How about "targeted killings" of the innocents that necessitated the "targeted killings" of terrorists? You be the judge!
