The 2nd Inauguration of George W. Bush Is Spend Money Day!
Kevin D. Korenthal, January 17, 2005
Dozens of depressed Democrats are threatening to not spend a single dime on Inauguration Day, in protest of The Bush Administrations policies on just about everything.
Not spending money will affect services like restaurants, transportation and retail, so the left will actually hurt the very people they purport to represent. The little guys: waitresses, bartenders, salespeople, and other folks who depend on tips and commissions in order to get from paycheck to paycheck. Granted, the obstructionists are unlikely to have any noticeable impact on the economy, but this infantile temper tantrum should still be addressed.
This Thursday, I invite those that are happy that George W. Bush has been re-elected to show it with their wallets and checkbooks. Buy that special something you have denied yourself, give a gift to someone for no reason or perhaps you have a little more disaster relief money to give to www.usafreedomcorps.gov. All Tsunami disaster contributions sent through the end of January can be written off of your 2004 taxes.
Find a clever and useful way to spend just a little extra dough this Thursday, Inauguration Day. Stick it to the left.
