Yesha Council Urges Resistance To Transfer Of Jews

An Israeli so-called settlers’ group backed a call to resist the evacuation of settlers under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s surrender to terrorism plan, sometimes called disengagement or withdrawal to whitewash the wrongful transfer of Jews from their "Holy Land or ""Promised Land" in favor of Arab settlers and squatters from the neighboring Arab nations.

Monday’s statement by the Yesha Council came after Pinchas Wallerstein, head of the Binyamin district in the territories of Judea and Samaria (wrongfully called "West Bank"), stirred fears of civil disobedience by saying evacuations slated for the territories next year must be resisted, even at the risk of prison time.

"We will maintain a determined stand against a decision that is, we believe, a crime on a national and historical scale, of evicting Jews from their homes," the chairman of the Yesha Council, Bentzi Lieberman, told reporters. But he said this constituted a call for passive resistance only. "We will not call for civil war under any circumstances," Lieberman said.
