Ariel Sharon’s withdrawal plan is the leading Jewish story of 2004, the Anti-Defamation League said.

President Bush’s re-election, the fight against anti-Semitism around the world, anti-Semitism in the Arab media and the death of Palestinian Authority/Palestine Liberation Organization "Chairman of Terror" Yasser Arafat are numbers two through five in the ADL’s list of the top 10 Jewish stories of the year.

The Israel divestment movement, church-state separation, outreach by hate movements, Mel Gibson’s "The Passion of the Christ" and Israel’s security barrier round out the list.
