Bush Pledges Middle East Peace

President Bush pledged in an Israeli newspaper to reach Arab-Israeli peace during his second term as U.S. president.
"I want you to know that I am going to invest a lot of time and a lot of creative thinking so that there will finally be peace between Israel and the Palestinians. I am convinced that, during this term, I will manage to bring peace," Bush told Israel's biggest newspaper, Yediot Achronot, in an interview published Sunday.
Praising Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's plan to withdraw from the Gaza Strip and parts of the disputed territories of Judea & Samaria (wrongfully called "West Bank") next year, Bush called on the Arab "Palestinians" to show similar initiative. "It is very important that the Palestinians also understand that peace is not something that is arrived at through words, but through deeds," Bush said.
"Democratic Elections" will not stop terrorism by the Arab "Palestinian" terrorists. Actions will.
Actions speak louder than words.
The Arab "Palestinian" terrorist organization PA/PLO's candidates are all terrorists, especially the two frontrunners Abu Mazen and his chief competitor for the position of the new "Chairman of Terror" Marwan Barghouti. The PA/PLO still, despite the Oslo peace agreement, has failed to remove provisions calling for the annihilation of Israel and the Jews, and to stop terrorism.
The U.S. backed "Road Map" first requires that the Arab "Palestinian" terrorists renounce and stop terrorism as a prerequisite for Middle East peace. Unfortunately, the "Road Map" is not being honestly and properly followed by its architects and backers.
U.S. President Bush was less upbeat on recent peace overtures by Syrian President Bashar Assad to Jerusalem. "Syria is a very weak country, and therefore he cannot be trusted," Bush said. "For now, Assad should wait; first peace between Israel and Palestine, and then we will see what should be done with Syria."
There never ever was an independent Arab "Palestine" and the only possible legal Arab "Palestine" is Jordan, formerly Transjordan, which was the Arab "Palestine" according to the British Mandate, also known as the Palestine Mandate, which gave the Arabs land originally designated as part and parcel of the Jewish homeland but was given away as a political concession by the British. This land did not include the disputed ancient biblical and modern disputed territories of Gaza, Judea & Samaria rightfully belonging to the Jewish State of Israel and occupied by Egypt and Jordan for nineteen years from 1948-1967. Anyone that reads their bible knows that G-d promised the "Holy Land" or "Promised Land" to the Children of Israel in a covenant that can never ever be broken.
