A medical examiner is close to ruling out homicide in the death of a young Jewish terrorism expert.

Randy Hanzlick, the medical examiner in Fulton County, Ga., said he is leaning toward the conclusion that Jason Korsower’s death was heart-related. A number of tests for toxins proved negative, Hanzlick said Thursday.

Korsower, who worked for the Investigative Project, died in his sleep Nov. 26 at age 29. The FBI is investigating his death.

Steve Emerson, who runs the Investigative Project, has in the past received death threats because of his work investigating militant Islam.
