France Licensed Hezbollah Tv Spreads Hatred

Gary Fitleberg, December 1, 2004

Days after being licensed to broadcast in France and throughout the European Union (EU), the television station operated by the terrorist group Hezbollah accused Israel of spreading "dangerous diseases like AIDS through exports to Arab countries," The Jerusalem Post reported.

France has opposed adding Hezbollah, which has killed hundreds of Americans and Israelis as well as 58 French soldiers, to the EU's list of terrorist organizations.

The French Broadcasting Authority granted a license to Al-Manar, Hezbollah's TV station, last month. From France, its programs can be seen throughout Europe.
