The Shoah Foundation will honor President Clinton with its Ambassadors for Humanity award.

The award, which honors individuals promoting tolerance and understanding, will be presented to Clinton on Feb. 17 in Los Angeles.

"President Clinton's leadership around the world in the struggle against racial, ethnic and religious bigotry accords perfectly with the Shoah Foundation's mission and makes him an ideal recipient of our annual award," said the group's founding chairman, filmmaker Steven Spielberg.

The 10-year-old foundation has collected 52,000 videotaped interviews with Holocaust survivors in 56 countries and in 32 languages.
