Columbia University will investigate charges of anti-Israel bias among its faculty.

Columbia President Lee Bollinger said in a recent statement that he was "troubled" by student charges of intimidation by anti-Israel faculty in a documentary film produced by a pro-Israel group in Boston called the David Project, the New York Sun reported.

Bollinger said Columbia "does not condone the intimidation of students or discrimination of any kind," and instructed provost and American history scholar Alan Brinkley to investigate the matter.
