Take Action Against Terror: Urge Congress To Support Israel’s Security Fence

Gary Fitleberg, October 9, 2004

A Senate resolution supporting Israel's right to build a security fence to prevent terrorism and condemning a call by the U.N.'s International Court of Justice (ICJ) to halt construction could be voted upon as early as next week.

The bill, which also urges "the United States to vote against any further United Nations action that could delay or prevent the construction of the security fence," currently has more than 40 cosponsors.

The House passed a similar resolution earlier this year 361 to 45.
