Islamic Nations Want to Weaken UN Terror Proposal

Delegates from Islamic nations are attempting to weaken a U.N. Security Council proposal that would define terrorism, The New York Sun reported.

Representatives from Algeria and Pakistan have urged the sponsors of the resolution to delete a provision giving the U.N. authority to compile a list of terrorist organizations, fearing that such a document may include groups like Hamas that carry out attacks on Israelis.
