Update On The War On Terror

Kevin D. Korenthal, August 10, 2004

Howard Dean was on CNN last Sunday Morning and he said you should not worry about terrorism. The whole heightened alert in New York and other metropolitan cities is just the Administration making politics of the terrorist threat." I Got A Scream" Dean claims there is no threat of terrorism. Dean works for John Kerry now.

It has been a busy 2 months in the fight against the Fundamentalist Muslim Jihadists. Top in the news is the laptop computer we captured from a key organizational member of Al Qaida. It's been said to contain a "Treasure Trove" of information about communications Osama Bin Laden has been making with the Al Qaida cells as well as plans for future attacks. Some of the research on all of these attacks suggests they were all planned starting five years back. The African Embassy Bombings as well as both WTC attacks also began many years before they actually materialized. Mr. Dean is wrong. Terrorism is still out there and it is desperate to attack inside the US.

This laptop, as well as other sources, has led to the capture of a dozen terrorists and the shutting down of a key terrorist travel corridor. Read this Associated Press Article titled "Arrests Damage al-Qaida Network" for the whole story on where we are in the War On Terror.

God bless you all, and keep your eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary in places where people gather.
