Attention: People Like Me! Do you Get It?

By Kevin D. Korenthal

So we have talked about media bias and historical revisionism. We have questioned the wisdom in making decisions based on severely WRONG information. We know one segment of the population does not want you to remember what happened and what was said 2 years ago, 1 year ago... last week!

But do you understand why? Are you cognizant of the scope of the realizations you and I have examined together? Before September 11th, 2001, you and I were not capable of grasping what now seems like tight logic. How many of us actually stopped to think of what increased violence and sex on TV as well as harmful music lyrics are doing to society? Not me.

Oh, but we aren't in the dark anymore. A lot of you reading this might be just now making the revelations that I am talking about. Let me see if I can recall how it happened. It started simple enough. You get bored one night so you read some conservative article that a friend sent you and pretty much agreed with all of it. You've been watching Fox News more than any other news station and maybe you accidentally punched AM and heard Larry Elder or Rush Limbaugh or Laura Ingram and you were transfixed by what you heard. You hear the bleeding hearts calling in trying to justify the outrage against the entity that freed yet another repressed nation. You sit there stunned as some relatively sane sounding person proceeds to explain how Saddam Hussein wasn't really all that bad of a guy!

Soon you find yourself interjecting into political conversations in the lunchroom or with friends and family. You hear commentary sold as fact and you edge in to question the revisionist. You insist that the cross on the county seal is there to represent the heritage of that community. You wonder if this will lead to even the discussion of Christianity to be erased from the children's schoolbooks... WELL IT HAS BEEN ERASED. And because you desire to know the truth about the past you question the value in hiding the past.

By continuing to read and by extension agreeing to my commentary, you have made the ideological decision to apply the breaks to all this forced Progressive Regression. Even those of you that are of the atheist persuasion (and I know who some of you are) have got to have admitted to yourself by now that in order for the left to get what they want, they must beat down Christianity and Zionism to the point where they can be labeled dangerous cults and therefore be deemed illegal. The left that will vote "Anyone But Bush" will be casting their vote for John Kerry. Is there any part of you that still thinks the world will be better if John Kerry and the liberals get back in power? Do you think there is any likelihood they will be merciful to the dictators that took us thousands of miles away and spent billions of dollars to free two nations and protect our national integrity?

I used to laugh at Whoopi Goldberg's jokes and that stupid Stuart Smiley character from Saturday Night Live too. But it isn't funny to make fun of someone in a profane manner just because you disagree with his or her political views.
