Farewell and Final Word: Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad
Gary Fitleberg, November 4, 2003
Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, speaking on the eve of his retirement, said that the Jewish people's past sufferings in Europe were no excuse for taking Arab land and persecuting Muslims.
The 78-year-old Muslim leader, who steps down Friday October 31st (not a moment too soon) after 22 years in power, provoked international cries of protest two weeks ago by saying that the Jews had emerged from the Holocaust to "rule this world by proxy."
Mohamed told it on the mountain of anti-Semitic diatribes before the rulers of Muslim nations who gave him a standing ovation for his hateful, inflammatory remarkable speech.
A staunch supporter of the Arab "Palestinian" cause, Mahathir said the Jews were now guilty of persecuting Muslims in the same way that Europeans had persecuted Jews down the ages.
"They must never think they are the chosen people who cannot be criticized at all," Mahathir said when asked if he had one last message for the world's Jews.
Mohamed's October 16th speech to leaders of Islamic nations had centered on the need for Muslims to join the modern world to use science and technology to overcome the Jewish people. "We can not let a few million Jews overcome over a billion Muslims." was his desperate insanity plea.
It also contained grudging admiration for the way Jews had prospered despite their persecution, but the comment on their world influence evoked memories in the West of the conspiracy theories used in Czarist Russia and Nazi Germany to whip up anti-Semitism. But Mahathir said the past suffering of Jews was a source of sadness for Muslims.
"They suffered a great deal in the past. They were killed, they were massacred," he said. "We sympathize with them. We were very sad to see how the Jews were so ill-treated by the Europeans."
Show us sympathy. Leave us alone. Let us live in PEACE!!! Actions speak louder than words.
Mahathir denies being anti-Semitic and says he has Jewish friends, but in his controversial speech he failed to draw any distinction between Jews, Israelis and Zionists.
We've all heard the famous line "Some of my best friends are Jewish"!!!
He reiterated Thursday that the root problem between Jews and Muslims was the occupation of Arab land to form the state of Israel.
The Children of Israel were promised this land by the true ONE G-D!!! If one is to be an honest Muslim and read the Holy Koran!!! Arab/Islamists "occupy" the land belonging to the Jewish people. It is the ancient biblical land known as Gaza and Judea and Samaria (wrongly called the "West Bank"). It was "occupied" by many conquerors and dishonest regimes but nonetheless it still belongs to the Children of Israel. Unless one doesn't believe the true ONE G-D keeps his promises!!!
The root problem is teaching intolerance rather than tolerance from birth through childhood through the teenage years through adulthood of the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
"It is not religion at all. It is territorial," he said. "You take somebody's land and they will fight for it."
Get a clue. Take a hint. Israel and the Jewish people will fight for their G-D given right to this land!!! Farewell Mr. Malaysian Adolf Hitler!!! You may or may not have the final word. Time will tell. We'll see.
